I PASSED!!!
I took the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam (PANCE for short) last Friday. It is a comprehensive, 6 hour, 360 question, gut-busting exam whose content ranges from Cardiology to Neurology to Urology and everything in between. It tested me on everything I had learned during the past two years in PA school at the University of Florida. I graduated from the program on June 21, 2008...
(Graduation photo from PA school, left to right: study buddies Bart Miller, myself, Travis Randolph, and Dave Baca)
...and took my exam on July 25, 2008. I found out this morning that I PASSED the PANCE!! What a relief!! I am now officially done with my formal training! School is over! No more papers to write for some useless subjective grade and no more studying (cramming) late into the night for an exam the following day! I feel so free right now. I have been in school my whole life; and now, I am officially done!
Now I can start concentrating on really important things like where we will go to dinner tonight to celebrate! Now I can focus on neglected priorities like my golf game and my jump shot! Now I can begin learning how to successfully navigate my dish DVR and PS3. Now I can commence my domination over faceless internet foes on my newly acquired NCAA '09 college football game. Now I can guiltlessly start the countdown to the Summer Olympics and Gator Football! I am free, I am free!
...for now...
Go Gators!!

A few Pictures
The Florida Boys at our old appartment in Gainesville
Bo & Bryce at the Florida Gator Baseball game
These two photos are from our new hometown, St. George, Utah. These were taken at the library park downtown. The boys love to play in the water!

It Beats 4 U
Who Could See And Not Believe? The Heart That Beats The Wavelength.
And Who Could Say But Never Do. Things They've Said To Someone Who
Thru All That's Been And All Will Be - So In Line So Thoughfully(Lessly)
In Tune With You. So In Time For Me. New Thoughts Arrive. So In Time For Me.
Who Can Count The Time I'm Beatin... With My Hands?
Who Can Stop The Smoke From Breathin... In My Head?
Words Will Come And Words Will Go. Make Believe And Overthrow.
Just Believe And You Can Do.
You Know My Heart - It Beats For You.
It Beats4u - So In Time We Beat. Your Thoughts Align - So In Time With Me

The Great Salt Lake
Back of the boat was painted wreckin' ball
There was country music playing, but he don’t like it at all
And red fire poppin' on the rained-down woody
His whiskey bottle spillin' in a lake that's made of salt
And look out Michael, there's a note on the door
Saying, "Everybody listen, you'll be the next Omaha"
Now, if you find yourself falling apart
Then I'm sure... I could stand... On... the Great Salt Lake
And your old man was but a wishing machine
It’s time that you could spare; now he's getting old
When Billy Lorett had found a watering hole
It’s a place to lay yourself or the heads of coyote
Now, if you find yourself falling apart
Then I'm sure... I could stand... On... the Great Salt Lake
We're following home
We want more
Following home
We all want more
If ever beat down, we know who we are
They know we all want more
If ever beat down, we know who we are
They know we all want more

Why's it so strange when they say that the world's movin upwards?
Why's it surreal when my hands feel they cant roll the dice?
Why's it so great just to wake every day, alive and by your side.
It's a mystery I guess, there's lots of things I cant find.
Its not the way that you look, but your move that catches my eye.
Why's it so soft when the cannons unload on the others?
Why're we so loud when we say it wont happen to us?
Why does my mind blow to bits every time they play that song?
It's just the way that he sings,
Not the words that he says, or the band.
I'm in love with this soul, it's a meaning that I understand.
